On May 23, from 17.00 to 21.00 in the triathlon park, with the support of the State Institution "Department of Culture and Language Development of Aktobe city", KSU "City Centralized Library System" organized a library night and an evening of poetry called "Kitaphana adebiet aleminde", dedicated to the 155th anniversary of the creation of the city of Aktobe.
The main purpose of the event is to increase interest in reading, develop spiritual wealth, interest in creativity among residents and visitors of the city, as well as the promotion of new modern books.
During the event, playgrounds called "Abai zhane Pushkin", "Shygarmashylyk alany", "Gazhayyptar alany", "Poetry of Alany" were organized at the venues. At these venues, scenes from literary works were shown in a special format, giving the reader spiritual knowledge and relaxation. Various quizzes and games gave readers a good mood and gave them the opportunity to get acquainted with modern books. There was a production on the creative platform-an excerpt from the work of the writer Ziyash Teleuova "Mahabbattyn ajaly", which delighted the audience and gave wonderful impressions.
During the evening, poetry lovers of our city gathered in Astana Park, poetry clubs also took part in an open-air poetry evening organized in a free format. Famous poetesses Laura Palman, Gulzhainar Kaldina and Zhuldyz Kazikhan have won a place in the hearts of the people with their poems.
Thematic book exhibitions "Abaydy oky, tanyrka!", "He is our poet, he is our glory!", "Poetry – tutas oner", "Bolashagy zharkyn, eldin urpagymyz" were organized, a Bookrossing campaign was held, memos and flyers of city libraries were distributed to the audience.
