On November 07, the city children's library No. 5 named after S.Ya.Marshak hosted a gala evening "Bilimnin gazhayyp Ordasy" dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the library.
The guests of honor of the evening were a member of the Writers' Union, poet, composer, translator, TV journalist, holder of the badge "Excellent Student of Culture" of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aimakhanova Gulsamal Toredinkyzy, as well as pensioners who have worked in this library for many years. The evening continued with congratulations from the director of the regional children's library named after N.Baiganin E.S.Kashkenova and the director of the "City House of Culture of the Kazakh Society of the Blind" A. Zharylkasyn. During the event, the readers of secondary schools No. 12 and No. 33 performed kui and national dance. Letters of thanks were also presented to the library on behalf of the heads of partner institutions. The closing speech was made by the director of KSU "GCBS" G.N.Salieva with wishes and words of gratitude.
